Sugar and Spice, and Fit in your Pants!

With the official first day of fall right around the corner, I am reminded of all the wonderful traditions the holidays bring. I love this time of year! Whether it’s busting out the decorations, scary movie marathons, seating arrangements for thanksgiving, or the perfect present I am so excited to give I can hardly wait for Christmas morning! It all brings such joy to me and makes me feel the excitement and magic I used to feel as a kid.

Now let’s get to the traditions that can be a little worrisome for everyone around this time of year…The food! In this post my sister talks about the yummy coffee drinks that come out at this time of year. Her and I both (must be in our blood!) nearly jump with joy when we see the pumpkin spice latte has returned to Starbucks, and just like her I have already ordered my first latte of the year straight up! My advice to you is, if you love these drinks as much as we do, and get the joy of how the taste or smell can make you feel the crisp fall days coming then let yourself indulge once guilt free! But after that use some of the suggestions my sister gives in her post to cut back on the calories but still get the feeling of fall from time to time
